BERICAP and BioGaia join forces to offer beverage brand owners and bottlers, a unique solution for probiotics and other ingredients to create new concepts of functional and health enhancing drinks; LifeTop® cap.

Under the name of LifeTop® the Swedish company BioGaia, specialists in probiotic (such as Lactobacillus reuteri), have designed and patented a dispensing closure concept where the ingredients are protected during storage and released at the time of drinking the beverages. BioGaia have also worked with BERICAP to industrialise and commercialise it to brand owners to create new functional and health enhancing drinks.

The collaboration with BioGaia follows several years of search by BERICAP of the best compromise between an efficient system of protection of the ingredients against humidity and a simple and cost effective solution, that is easy to fill and to apply on the bottles without significant changes of the capping lines, and that is easy to understand and to use by consumers.

BERICAP is one of the largest manufacturers of plastic closures, globally acting with 20 factories in 18 countries across the world and a network of licensees and partners to supply similar products made according to the same quality and service standards to its global customers.
