Cantilever slitter rewinder

The highly versatile Titan SR8 cantilever slitter rewinder is the most successful product in the Titan range with more than 250 machines now installed worldwide. The capability of handling a wide variety of flexible materials up to 2,250mm (88in) wide at high production speeds is an essential part of its huge success, with a maximum rewind diameter of 800mm (32ins) and running at production speeds up to 700m/min (2,300ft/min).

The machine can be supplied with an automatic knife positioning system and the laser core positioning system provides a quick, accurate guide for the operator to position new rewind cores for re-starting the slitting process. Slit widths can be as narrow as 25mm (less than 1in).

Compact cantilever slitter rewinder

The Titan ER610 compact cantilever slitter rewinder is an innovative and more environmentally friendly slitting and rewinding solution. It has a reduced power / all electric, oil-free operation without hydraulics, a CCD edge-guide camera that reduces waste, with a running speed of 450m/min (1,500ft/min) and an option for slit widths as narrow as 35mm. With quick and easy installation, the ER610 extends the Titan portfolio of slitter rewinders by addressing the needs of converters which produce lower volumes of flexible materials.

Automatic turret slitter rewinder

More fully automated slitting solutions include the Titan CT610 automatic turret slitter rewinder for much higher production volumes in FMCG packaging / film applications.

The Titan CT610 automatic turret slitter rewinder is the culmination of more than 30 years of turret winding experience and is fully automated. It features automatic cut-off, automatic tape down on new cores and finished reels, automatic unloading of finished reels, automatic loading and positioning of new cores and an automatic knife positioning system. The slit reels are removed automatically from the shaft and can also be conveyed to a robotic handling system.

The CT610 has a very fast turret action, with slit widths down to 20mm (less than 1in) and a distinctive continuous turret shaft support system. The turret changeovers take less than 20s. It runs at speeds up to 750m/min with a maximum rewind diameter of 610mm. The CT610 is available from 1.4m - 2.2m web widths to meet high-volume production requirements. It can accommodate parent rolls up to 1,500mm in unwind diameter and the linear tracking contact system provides the web geometry required for handling a range of substrates at high speeds.
