Capsolutions - Induction Sealer, Cap Assembly and Cap Lining Machines

Capsolutions supplies equipment to both manufacturers and users of caps and closures.

For cap manufacturers, we supply cap-lining machines and automatic assembly machines for the high-speed manufacture of closures and other small plastic components.

For cap users, we provide a range of induction heat-sealers that we believe to be the best in Europe, if not the world. Capsolutions offers the full range of Pillar Unifoiler waterless induction heat sealers, alongside our own low-cost range of induction cap-sealers, to give customers a real choice.

These are complemented by our patented Line Patrolman induction-sealing quality control instrument, which assists with induction heat-sealer setting and ensures consistently good induction-seal quality.

HAND-HELD INDUCTION-SEALER AND TABLE-TOP INDUCTION HEAT SEALER RANGE

We offer a choice of two hand-held bottle sealers (also known as heat sealers, foil sealers, induction sealers or bottle cap sealers): our own low-cost induction cap-sealer and the brand new hand-held sealer from ITW Pillar Technologies. The Capsolutions induction cap-sealer will induction-seal caps from 10mm to 70mm diameter and the Pillar hand-held sealer caps from 10mm to 120mm.

Our semi-automatic table top sealer is mounted on a stand which provides easy and accurate height adjustment. It seals caps up to 120mm in diameter quickly and easily; when the capped bottle is place under the heat sealer, the sealing head will sense the bottle is in position and automatically switch on for a predetermined time until the bottle is sealed.

AUTOMATIC INDUCTION BOTTLE SEALER RANGE

For automatic induction-sealing Capsolutions offers the Unifoiler range of induction bottle-sealers. These are renowned the world over for their performance, reliability and efficiency. They perform reliable bottle-sealing to give tamper evidence, leak prevention and, often, enhanced shelf-life.

Unifoiler waterless induction heat-sealers are available from 1kW up to 6kW, and are typically less than half the size of equivalent water-cooled bottle sealers, have fewer parts, give less chance of failure and are almost maintenance free.

Unifoiler induction foil-sealers are supplied with universal coils, which are suitable for the great majority of applications and make specialist coils and coil changing almost obsolete. Comprehensive safety and quality checking systems are available, and these can be linked to existing production lines and control systems as necessary.

LINE PATROLMAN INDUCTION-SEALING QUALITY CONTROL INSTRUMENT

Capsolutions' patented Line Patrolman is widely used in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, food and dairy industries to ensure correct setting and control of the induction heat-sealing process.

The Line Patrolman directly measures the induction energy going into the foil seal liner. It confirms whether the heat-sealer is correctly set and functioning to ensure consistently good seal quality.

It can also be used to validate the output of the induction-sealer and assist in fault diagnosis if bottle-sealing problems do occur.

CAP ASSEMBLY AND LINING MACHINES (CAP-WADDING MACHINES)

Capsolutions provides a range of cap-lining machines, from a single head in-line wadding machine producing up to 11,000 pieces per hour, to a multi-head rotary lining machine with an output of over 60,000 pieces per hour. All of these can insert a full range of cap liners (feeding either a pre-cut cap liner [wad] or punching from tape), into all types of closures.

Similarly, our assembly machines range from a single assembly machine for automatic assembly of two-piece caps, such as child-resistant child closures, some sports caps and carton fitments, through to full assembly lines comprising several linked continuous motion assembly machines for the automated assembly of multi-part components such as tamper-evident anti-refill spirits closures.

Our cap-assembly machines and assembly lines typically operate at between 6,000 and 80,000 pieces per hour. Automatic inspection and rejection of defective components, with or without vision systems, is incorporated into all of our cap-lining and assembly machines.
