Loveshaw Europe are extremely pleased to announce that SNAPCO in Scotland have become a distributor for for their Little David range of end-of-line packaging machinery. This encompasses case erectors, case sealers and simple case coding equipment (microjets).
Stuart Macfarlane, the managing director of Snapco, said: "I was sceptical at first that the Loveshaw Little David range of packaging machinery was any better or different to anyone else. That scepticism dissipated very quickly after a thorough product run through and demonstration by the Loveshaw sales manager at the 2008 PPMA show."
He continued: "In particular, I was impressed with the build quality, the ease of use and the all-metal patented tape cartridge in the case sealers and case erectors. We were selling Siat case taping machines, but once I saw the Little David machines, I had no hesitation in swapping over to Loveshaw. I look forward to a long and meaningful business relationship with Loveshaw Europe."
Kevin Green, the Loveshaw general manager, added: "We are rightly proud of our packaging machinery range. We justifiably, in my opinion, are known in the market place for supplying quality machinery with excellent aftermarket service. I am extremely confident that Snapco will bring an added dimension to the sales of Little David case erectors, case sealers and case coders in Scotland. I'm sure that collaboration between our two respective organisations will bring mutual benefit."
Snapco were founded by Jim McGoven in 1995. Stuart Macfarlane purchased a majority shareholding in 2006, since which the company has doubled in size. Based in Glasglow, Snapco cover the whole of Scotland with their own in-house sales and engineering team. They supply a wide variety of packaging materials and packaging machinery. Snapco already act as a main distibutor in Scotland for ITW Signode.
