Titan at Chinaplas 2014.

Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd (UK) will present the latest Atlas CW Series and Titan SR9 Series slitter rewinders for plastic film and flexible materials at Chinaplas 2014, to be held in Shanghai, China, 23-26 April on stand W5-J05 in Hall W5.

Atlas introduced the ‘next generation’ CW3600 and CW1040 Series slitter rewinder platform during 2012 and has recently added the CW5400 Series to the portfolio, which covers web widths of 3,600mm-5,400mm. The complete CW Series platform now covers machine widths of 2,500mm-10,400mm with speeds of up to 1,500m/min.

The company has now sold more than 70 of the new platform slitter rewinders for BOPP, BOPET and CPP films in various worldwide locations. This latest Atlas technology features wireless rewind arm positioning, automatic knife positioning and direct drive web path rollers ensuring optimum web tension for films as thin as six micron and up to 125mi. The new platform also delivers higher efficiency, increased productivity and reliability, higher-quality rewind reels, reduced noise levels and more effective, operator-friendly control systems.
