Formable packaging paper

The secret behind FibreForm® formable packaging paper is its high stretchability, which opens the door to a wide range of applications. It is possible to develop unique packaging solutions with exciting, natural forms and deep embossing that strengthen brands.

This formable paper also has considerable environmental value. FibreForm is made of 100% primary fibre and is approved for direct contact with food. FibreForm is FSC certified - a guarantee that the raw material originates from sustainable forestry.

Medical packaging paper

Both Billerud Sterikraft and Medikraft medical packaging paper meet the challenges and demands of the healthcare sector, and together they cover all of the healthcare sector's medical packaging paper requirements.

Siliconising papers

Billerud offers three siliconising product families - one uncoated (Release) and two clay-coated (Release C1S and Release C2S) in varying grammages. Both our uncoated and our clay-coated product families can be used in all siliconising processes.

Paper carrier bags

Consumer flexibles packaging paper

Technical kraft paper from Billerud is the ideal bearer of different barriers to protect package contents against air, light, grease and moisture. The surface smoothness and even profiles of our consumer flexibles packaging paper meet the toughest demands for extrusion, lamination and fine printing.

Packaging papers for sugar, flour, pasta and grain

Few other types of packaging are so dependent on a high-quality raw material as paper bags for flour, sugar, pasta and grain. The packaging should have a low weight and it often lacks barriers - this requires a paper that is as strong as it is pure.

Billerud's range of packaging papers for sugar, flour, pasta and grain consists of kraft paper with a broad spectrum of properties and grammages, all of which are manufactured using very precise, hi-tech methods. The papers are thoroughly checked before delivery to ensure that they always maintain a high and even quality.

Containerboard: fluting and liner

Containerboard is strong, durable, lightweight, environmentally friendly and cost-effective, which makes it perfect for everything from strong, stiff and impact-resistant transport packaging to smart-looking consumer packaging featuring advanced printing.

Billerud's containerboard - both the corrugated middle layer (fluting) and the outer layer (lining) - is made of 100% primary fibre. This ensures a clean and very strong paper used in the most demanding applications. When there are extra requirements for strength, purity, hygiene and good printing, Billerud's liner and fluting are an excellent choice.

Sack kraft paper

Millions of tons of industrial products, foodstuffs and animal feed are packed in sacks made of Billerud's high-quality sack kraft paper. The paper is strong, hygienic and environmentally friendly.

Billerud white and brown sack paper can be used for cement and building materials, chemicals, food, animal feed, pet food and consumer snacks.

The product family QuickFill® has been specially developed for valve sacks for fast filling of powdered goods, for example for building material, industrial minerals, chemicals and foodstuff.

NBSK pulp

Billerud produces 330,000t of market pulp annually and is ranked among Europe's top producers of NBSK pulp. Billerud's bleached kraft pulp can be used to make coated and uncoated papers, LWC, packaging paper, tissue, thermo paper and an array of special papers.

Pure Scandinavian pine and spruce provide the high-quality primary fibre used to produce all Billerud NBSK pulp. Billerud NBSK pulp combines a multitude of properties, including high brightness and purity as well as tear and tensile strength.
