Corapack - Micro-Perforated and Macro-Perforated Polypropylene and Polyester Films

Corapack produces micro-perforated and macro-perforated polypropylene and polyester films, mainly used for bread and vegetables packaging, both in reels or bags. The brand name Corapan includes all perforated films: hot-needle, cold punching and laser. All films can be supplied neutrally or flexo-printed to a maximum of six colours.

PERFORATED POLYPROPYLENE AND POLYESTER FILMS FOR BREAD PACKAGING

Corapack offers packaging films with several densities of perforation in order to optimise the shelf-life of the product, according to the kind of bread and the final market.

Fresh crusty breads usually require polypropylene film in 15my, 20my or 25my with a density of perforation of 4, 6, 9 or 25 holes per cm².

Sliced breads, in order to avoid excessive transpiration, require a lower density of perforation (0.25 or 1 holes per cm²).

For frozen breads to be warmed in traditional or microwaves ovens, Corapack offers a range of polyester films that can resist to 220°C. This application is the most common one in small supermarkets and aerial catering service.

BREATHABLE FILMS FOR FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PACKAGING

Fresh fruits and vegetables: Corapack offers a complete range of products with specific micro-perforations or macro-perforations (cold punching) that can be supplied in standard or in antifog / antimist versions, according to the aesthetical qualities of the product you would like to enhance.

LASER PERFORATED PACKAGING FILMS

Especially conceived for ready-to-eat vegetables, laser perforated films allow a longer life of the product - even five to seven days more than usual - thus granting more freshness during the standard time of exposure to the public or a longer shelf-life, with a lot of advantages in terms of logistic and distribution. Laser perforated films are also recommended for easily perishable products.

MICRO-PERFORATED FILMS FOR INDUSTRIAL USES

Micro-perforated films are sometimes used to pack toys or parts in order to avoid the risk of suffocation, especially regarding children. Further uses of micro-perforated films are in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry for products / substances for which a slowed-down release is required.

CORAPAN HEAT-PERFORATED POLYPROPYLENE FILM (OPP)

Corapan heat-perforated polypropylene film (OPP), both micro and macro, is suitable for packaging of products given to moisture-release (for example bread, cheese, vegetables, fresh meats, etc.) on vertical and flowpack horizontal automatic packaging machines.

CORALENE BI-ORIENTED CO-EXTRUDED POLYPROPYLENE FILM

Coralene bi-oriented co-extruded polypropylene (OPP) is suitable for the packaging of snacks, cookies, foodstuffs and industrial products. A vast range of Coralene laminated films (PP/PP, PP/PE, PET/PP, PET/PE etc.) offers solutions to every packaging need, in order to assure the best possible presentation, protection and preservation of the product.

PERFORATED AND UNPERFORATED PLASTIC BAGS

Perforated plastic bags for manual and automatic packaging are produced in PP cast, OPP, laminated films, polyester, in the Coralene version (unperforated film) and Corapan (perforated film).
