Agfa Graphics continues to bring innovative new plate setting solutions to the market. The new 8-up thermal models (:Avalon N8-60 and :Avalon N8-80) feature a new generation laser imager enhancing the image quality and throughput. This leads to improved reliability and stable quality plate imaging, in favour of the competitiveness of its customers.
The new engines handle the full portfolio of Agfa Graphics’ thermal plates supporting all commercial and offset packaging applications. Thanks to the support for an extended range of plate sizes they cover a maximum variety of presses.

The :Avalon N8-60 and :Avalon N8-80 come in different speed versions to answer particular throughput needs and peak work loads.
To accommodate to the operator ease of use, the new single- and multi-cassette autoloaders have been redesigned. They are much easier to load and even allow reloading during exposure.
The new :Avalon N8 design also took the ecology aspect into consideration introducing a standby mode which saves 85% on power consumption without compromise on productivity, another innovation that makes pre-press more sustainable.
