LOAD-SECURING STRAPPING

In securing loads, strap tension is not the only aspect involved – holding power is crucial. Cyklop plastic straps – especially with loads which tend to settle – offer the crucial advantage of high elasticity. Owing to their restoring capacity these straps compensate for any decreases in load circumference and thus ensure optimum holding power and real load securement.

For strapping tasks, such as bundling packages or sealing transport boxes, polypropylene straps constitute an optimum solution and also a low-cost solution. For heavy and very heavy operations – such as securing pallets – Cyklop PET (polyester) straps are often the non-plus ultra in innovative load securement.

STRETCH-WRAPPING MACHINES

For palletised loads that require full-surface support and enclosure on all sides (owing to their heterogeneous composition and for protection against dirt and dust) stretch wrapping is often the best recommendation.

The company's stretch-wrapping machines are available as semi-automatic and fully automatic versions – each incorporating highly advanced pre-stretching technology and stretch films exactly matched to them.

ADHESIVE TAPES

Box closures with adhesive tape are fundamental to transport packaging. In this area too, Cyklop is systematic – offering an extensive range from its own production, including dispenser, automatic machines, matching gummed strips as well as dispensers and automatic machines for self-adhesive tapes. Adhesive strips and tapes are also available with print according to your specifications.

PRODUCT-BUNDLING ELASTIC BANDS

With regards to small and pressure-sensitive products, Cyklop recognises that the best choice is usually to bundle them using rubber. Rubber bands and rings provide flexible holding power: from a rubber-strapped bundle one can remove items without the rest falling apart.

An additional advantage is that rubber does not deform the bundle, nor does it leave any pressure marks on the products. Rubber rings are of closed design without ends, which do not have to be heat-sealed, knotted or twisted. There are many different potential applications of rubber bundling, and they are by no means solely restricted to small products.
