Thermoforming and Vacuum Forming Machines

The Ridat Company, one of the leading European manufacturers of thermoforming and vacuum forming machinery, has helped broaden the activities of Springdew with a £50,000 investment in forming, cutting and stacking machinery.

They have also provided a new machine that will incorporate the specific requirements of leading 'just in time' vacuum forming specialist Circle Plastics, of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Special features of the machine include a clamping system for materials up to 12mm thick and a forming area of 1,200mm x 800mm (48in x 32in), plus top and bottom heating with closed-loop digital heating controls to ensure accurate zone-temperature regulation.

Ridat produces both manual and fully automated thermoforming and vacuum forming machines. Applications of our equipment vary from simple trays in the food industry to industrial items used in the automobile, pharmaceutical and sanitary wear sectors.
