The TOMRA recycling process:
1. Waste packaging is deposited in the TOMRA machine.
2. The material is scanned with a high-resolution camera.
3. Material is identified and segregated into separate container bins.
4. Plastic and aluminium are shredded by rotating blades; glass is crushed against an internal stone wall.
5. When full, TOMRA sends an alert for removal of all material.
