Glass container producer Ardagh Group, Glass – North America has introduced a 12oz clear (flint) beer bottle to its BuyOurBottles (BOB) website.
The new 12oz Clear Peak bottle is manufactured using a 100% recyclable flint glass with a twist-off closure.

Ardagh Group North American Glass division Craft Beer Sales vice-president John Orr said: “With the bottle expansion in flint glass, craft brewers, craft soda and cider customers, and functional beverage and kombucha customers can benefit from brand differentiation with a trusted product that fully protects the flavour of their beverage.”
Illinois-based Excel Bottling Company has also started using the new Clear Peak bottle for its flavoured soda brands.
Excel Bottling Company operations manager Mitch Reed said: “We have been really pleased with the quality of the glass, the outstanding customer service and the support from Ardagh Group since we started using them for all of our glass needs.”

The BOB site currently offers nine different beer bottles that include three 12oz bottle styles, one 22oz Bomber bottle, two 500ml bottles, two 750ml bottles, and the 64oz Growler bottle.
