Bramley & Gage-owned 6 O’Clock Gin has introduced its limited edition gin product, the Brunel Edition, in new black bottles manufactured by Croxsons, a glass packaging company.

The Brunel Edition is the first limited edition gin for 6 O’Clock Gin and also the first London Dry Gin since the formation of a partnership between Bramley & Gage and Croxsons.

The new bottle exhibits the same shape as earlier variants but features a new black colour and a copper label designed by Green Chameleon of Bristol.

Bramley & Gage / 6 O’Clock head distiller and director Gin Michael Kain said: “Brunel Edition is a bigger, bolder expression of our regular 6 O’Clock Gin, with six extra botanicals.

"We are seeing lots of customers looking to differentiate and to release super-premium editions."

“Its exotic mix of spices celebrates Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s extraordinary contributions to engineering and world travel.”

The new limited edition bottles are available at the Bramley & Gage website and at other specialist gin retailers.

Croxsons chief operating officer Tim Croxson said: “We have been supplying 6 O’Clock Gin with their distinctive blue bottles since they repackaged and rebranded two years ago, however the black Brunel bottle really is quite a unique project.

“We are seeing lots of customers looking to differentiate and to release super-premium editions.

“6 O’Clock Gin’s limited edition bottle has broken away from convention, particularly with the addition of the simple yet striking copper label, proving that sometimes less is more.”

Croxsons will be exhibiting the new bottle with its other products at the Luxury Packaging London, scheduled to be held in September.
