US-based Document Security Systems (DSS) has announced it has acquired Premier Packaging Corporation, a New York-based packaging company.
DSS said the takeover increases the company's annual sales revenue to $17m and allows it to offer secure packaging containing anti-counterfeiting technologies.
Financial details of the transactions have not been disclosed.
DSS specialises in anti-counterfeiting and authentication technology in packaging, labels and printing, while Premier Packaging is a packaging design, prototype and manufacturing firm.
