M&H Plastics said its new injection blow moulding machine will help the company expand across the pharmaceutical packaging market.
The UK packaging firm, which has not divulged the investment said it will use the machine to manufacture a 50ml round with 28mm neck and a 50ml roll-on pack for a customer.
The machine from Uniloy Milacron enables the company to produce scrap-free containers with an injection moulded finish, M&H said.
The new process reduces the risk of contamination and cuts wastage during production, it said.
The company claims to have Europe’s largest range of standard rigid plastic packaging in the personal care sector, consisting about 900 products.
