Denomination wins Design Agency of the Year award at Harpers Design, UK

Drinks design company Denomination has been awarded ‘Design Agency of the Year’ for the consecutive second year at the Harpers Design Awards.

In total, the company received 12 awards, which include four out of five accolades presented for outstanding examples of design and its work for Four Winds Vineyard winning Supreme Champion of the awards.

Denomination CEO Rowena Curlewis said: “Denomination has always focused on premiumisation, craft, storytelling and innovation in packaging.

“We don’t have a house style, but endeavour to be an agency which challenges convention, but only when appropriate.

“It’s wonderful for our forward-thinking approach to be acknowledged in this way by the drinks industry, which reflects the changes underway in the sector.”

Denomination received numerous awards, including the Best Redesign and Supreme Champion for Four Winds Vineyard, Best Wine Range for No Evil, the Most Innovative Pack Format for Most Wanted 187ml Pouches, and Best Alternative Packaging for Pinot Grigio Sparkling 200ml Cans.

"Denomination swept the board this year with their standout commitment to outstanding designs."

The company also secured gold medals for the Most Wanted Wines range, Fazzoletto and Waterton Hall; bronze medals for Yellowglen Style Series Vintage, Yalumba The Caley and Penfolds Great Grandfather Rare Tawny; and a commendation for its Pure Blonde Ultra Low Carb Lager.

The judges evaluating the designs said: “There was a common denominator with many of the top designs, and – as its name suggests – that was design agency Denomination.

“As you will see, Denomination swept the board this year with their standout commitment to outstanding designs which fit their briefs while always keeping the consumer in mind.”

From its offices in London and Sydney, Denomination focuses on creating successful brands by providing labels, strategy, point of sale, brand movies, brand launches and trade show design.
