France’s packaging industry registered a 20.3% drop in IT hiring activity in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 22.53% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.92% share in August 2021, recording an increase of 0.12% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.57% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s packaging industry in August 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 57.14% in August 2021, registering a 36.51% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 21.43% share, a decrease of 28.57% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10%, registering a 30% decline from July 2021.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.71%, down 55.56% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 43.37% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s packaging industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
Unibel posted 21 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a drop of 54.35% over the previous month, followed by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton with 12 jobs and a 71.43% growth. Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 5 IT jobs and Hermes International with 5 jobs, recorded a 77.27% decline and a 16.67% decrease, respectively, while The Procter & Gamble recorded an increase of 100% with 4 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.71%, down by 49.04% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 15.71% share, registered an increase of 175% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.57% share, down 33.33% over July 2021.
