Data visualisation technology provider AstroNova has released a new narrow-web digital flexible packaging press TrojanLabel T2-L.

TrojanLabel T2-L is suitable for short-run and high-volume digital printing and assists brand owners, manufacturers and commercial printers in growing their business.

The machine uses Natura inks for high-quality flexible packaging applications such as food labels.

AstroNova is providing customers with a chance to view and test the new T2-L machine at Pack Expo Las Vegas and Labelexpo Europe 2019. The conferences will be held on 23-25 September and 24-27 September respectively.

AstroNova president and CEO Greg Woods said: “Our T2-L plays directly into strong secular trends, driving the growth of the flexible packaging industry, including increased urbanisation, a greater consumer focus on sustainability and the growth of e-commerce.

“Our technology helps to create lightweight, durable packaging that reduces waste, lowers transportation costs and is safer for the environment.”
