UK-based packaging company DS Smith has opened its new PackRight Centre based in Hövelhof, Germany.

The new facility is the sixth centre opened by the company in the Germany – Switzerland region.

The PackRight Centre concept has been designed to focus on delivering individual display and packaging solutions while taking into account every aspect of the respective supply cycle of each customer, in addition to the latest shopper, retail and market trends.

PackRight Centre Hövelhof head Marion Mandalka said: “It is important for our customers that their display or packaging solutions perform optimally throughout the entire supply cycle and reduce complexity.

“This is why different people from different areas of our customer’s businesses attend our PackRight Centre workshops, coming for example from marketing, supply chain, production and purchasing.

Last June, DS Smith opened its fifth PackRight Centre in Kaarst for the Germany-Switzerland region.

The company has other centres in Erlensee and Pulheim, Germany, as well as Oftringen, Switzerland.

DS Smith has also confirmed its plans to open the seventh PackRight Centre in the region this year.
