India-based laminated plastic tube packaging company Essel Propack has launched a new recyclable high-density polyethene (HDPE) barrier tubes.

Essel Propack’s Platina 250 and Green GML 300 lamitubes offer sustainability and recyclability for the tube packaging segment.

The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) USA has confirmed that the lamitubes comply with the APR HDPE critical guidance criteria.

The product will ensure that the company remains committed to its sustainability goals. It will also benefit brands that want to move to recyclable and sustainable barrier packaging formats.

The company’s research and development (R&D) team created the recyclable HDPE barrier tubes. They incorporated HDPE, which helps to increase the tubes’ stiffness and lower polymer content.
