Packaging machine manufacturer Hugo Beck has developed the newest flowpack X-D machine to address the demanding display requirements of the chocolate and confectionery sector.
Recently designed to manufacture special display packs that would enable aesthetically pleasing confectionery packs, the flow pack machine can be customised according to specific requirements.

Flowpack X-D can operate with a large variety of films and uniquely develop a header for the label application in order to provide optimal on-shelf standout.
The machine features a box motion transversal sealing unit that facilitates a continuous high-output seal while concurrently producing the header, using two transverse sealing profiles to ensure the finished product has a perfect appearance.
The packs can be assembled using accumulation synchronisation or can be kept contact-free using cascade belts.
A colour printed card with product information and a best-before date can also be applied on one side of the pack.
