DS Smith Plastics division Rapak North America has added a new extended tab PCSS fitment to redesign its DuraBev beverage bag.

The PCSS fitment ensures a precise and controlled mix of beverages by connecting post-mix syrup or Bag-in-Box juice to the commercial fountain dispensing machines.

It features two extended side tabs to make the connection using its PCSS+ screw-on line-side connector.

The PCSS fitment, which is compatible with industry screw-on connectors, is available in high stress for juice and high-acid products.

According to the company, the redesigned fitment will allow restaurant operators to securely screw the connector and prevent over-tightening.
