Consolidated Container Company (CCC) subsidiary Reid Canada has completed the acquisition of two packaging firms, Polybottle Group and Humberline Packaging, from ABC Group.

Polybottle and Humberline manufacture plastic bottles for food, beverage, automotive, industrial, and speciality chemical industries. The companies have manufacturing plants located in Toronto, Vancouver, and Edmonton, in Canada.

The deal follows the company’s recent acquisition of DeltaPac in Montreal during the second quarter and will serve as a base for the launch of its Dura-Lite packaging line for food, beverage, and industrial markets.

The company is offering Dura-Lite containers in gallon, half-gallon, quart, and industrial round gallon sizes. The industrial gallon bottles are compatible with multiple neck finishes and are designed for the household cleaner, cooking oil, and beverage fill lines.
