Pressure-sensitive labelling solutions supplier UPM Raflatac has added new pharma security label materials to its labelling solutions portfolio.

The new solutions are designed to support pharmaceutical companies and enable them to enhance patient safety through secure packaging solutions.

The range features tamper-evident adhesives such as Red Luminescent solution with RP62 EU.

It can be used on existing machines to verify labels for 100% accuracy and glows red when illuminated by the sensor’s UV light.

Leveraging the company’s pharmaceutical adhesive RP62EU, the new solution offers a range of tamper-verification safety features enabling companies to identify visible, irreversible damage or change to the packaging or label when removed. It also provides holographic effects for packaging.
