Femme Natural Boost has joined forces with Rexam Beverage Can to launch its new natural energy drink in slim can from Rexam.

Rexam's 250ml slim can is described by the company as having a clean look that reflects the pure ingredients of the product inside.

According to the UK-based consumer packaging group Rexam, the new slim cans are produced at its Gelsenkirchen plant in Germany.

Femme Natural Boost founder Vahid Toosi said the can design, which supports its product in all possible ways, is a key element of its brand.

"We always work with the best and given Rexam's extensive know-how and flexibility, they are a great partner for a long lasting relationship," Toosi said.

Femme Natural Boost chose matt over varnish finish to improve the fresh, light-pink colour and major lettering of the can design.

The ink produces a low-sheen print effect, creating an alternative to conventional gloss ink, while reflecting the drink's energising and invigorating qualities.

The new Rexam cans are available from January 2013, and the company plans to expand throughout Europe, focusing mainly on the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy in 2013.

Rexam Beverage Can area sales director Austria & CEE Harald Moser said, "The beauty and natural energy drink sector is growing quickly and we are finding that our slim can is increasingly popular with brands wishing to target a largely female audience."

The new drink, which is made from 100% natural ingredients, contains vitamin C and antioxidants and is targeted at a young, female, health-conscious audience.
