Houdek partners with Suedpack to create reversed meatloaf packaging solution
In collaboration with German packaging solutions provider Suedpack Verpackungen, sausage producer Houdek has developed a new ‘reversed’ packaging solution for its Bavarian meatloaf.
In collaboration with German packaging solutions provider Suedpack Verpackungen, sausage producer Houdek has developed a new ‘reversed’ packaging solution for its Bavarian meatloaf.
The natural wood look to the compound packaging is designed to make the product look as if it is being served on a wooden board. It comes with a large transparent section that gives consumers a view of the contents.
Houdek sales and marketing head Olaf Hakenbeck said that the packaging for the company’s meatloaf enables customers to see what they are buying.
"What completely won us over, however, are the exceptional presentation opportunities at the point of sale," Hakenbeck added.
Houdek produces sausage and meat products in Germany.
