Plastic containers manufacturer Priority Plastics has announced the acquisition of CCW Products for an undisclosed sum, in a bid to expand its footprint across the US and increase its product offerings.

According to Priority Plastics, the sales of the two combined companies will exceed $70m with over 350 employees.

CCW's 80,000ft² facility in Denver and proximity to three interstate highways will increase product and shipping options for the customers of Priority.

Both the companies will be able to offer more products and increased shipping efficiencies to meet customer priorities.

Priority Plastics chief operating officer Gary Turner said the combination of CCW's packaging with its existing stock products, custom design and moulding process will bring improved solutions to its customers.

"Our specialty is in blow molding, which is one of the most technical areas in plastics manufacturing. With the combination of CCW's PVC and PET containers and Priority's products, our customers will have more options available to them," Turner said.

CCW Products, which manufactures food grade PVC and PET plastic containers in various shapes, sizes and fluid capacities, provides over 300 SKUs for more than 500 customers with annual sales of more than $19m.

Priority Plastics provides complete plastic container solutions for startup companies to multinational firms, and focuses on investing in strategically located manufacturing facilities throughout the US.
