Swiss sauce manufacturer Reitzel has launched new 300ml handy-size multi layer bottles, supplied by RPC Containers Corby, for foodservice operations.

The Hercules range of bottles, which is one of a number of standard multilayer bottle and jar ranges from RPC Blow Moulding, is available in four sizes: 300ml, 452ml, 670ml and 960ml.

Reitzel will use the new 'Mini Squeeze' bottles for five classic sauces - ketchup, mayonnaise, dijon mustard, mild spicy mustard and tartar sauce - that have been launched under the Hugo Reitzel brand.

According to RPC, the easy-squeeze Hercules bottles combine a user-friendly design with a good appearance, enhanced by large adhesive labels.

A three-bottle holder has also been produced by the food company for restaurant tables.

The lightweight bottles have a multilayer PP/EVOH/PP construction, which gives the products an extended ambient shelf life.

Complete evacuation of the product with no wastage is possible due to the top-down design of the bottles.

The bottles are also easy to handle for accurate portion control, while the closure, which has a tight fitting, keeps the opening clear and clean.

Philippe Michiels of Reitzel said the extended shelf life and storage outside the refrigerator are added advantages of the bottles.

"The Hercules bottles offer both style and convenience and the 300ml 'Mini Squeeze' size is ideal for all types of restaurants," Michiels said.
