UK-based label manufacturer Royston Labels is moving to a new production facility located on the Orchard Road Industrial Estate in Royston, Hertfordshire, UK.
The new 60,000ft² facility will enable the company to operate with greater capacity and efficiency to cater to the increasing needs of its customer base.
Royston Labels also owns a new warehouse unit near the Royston production facility. The company has purchased the production facility and warehouse complex for £1.5m.
Royston Labels managing director Paul Clayton said that the company will completely renovate its property, before shifting its entire operation to the new location.
"The factory will be a state of the art facility; I'm extremely excited about how it will transform and improve our business," Clayton added.
Royston Labels quality manager Dee German said that the company is expecting efficiency savings across its entire business operations while reducing waste and energy.
"We'll also be able to add new equipment, which is fantastic news. We're getting the capacity we need to increase productivity and reduce lead times, even as we continue to grow," German added.
The company considers Orchard Road as its main industrial and commercial centre and the property it has acquired there will become a major landmark building for the company once the modernisation completed.
Royston Labels supplies specialist labels for a range of packaging types, particularly within the personal care, drinks and pharmaceutical industries.
