Global protective packaging solutions provider Sealed Air has announced the launch of its new foam packaging product in its Instapak Quick range.

The new Instapak Quick Tuff RT brings cost and material reduction benefits without the need for a dispensing system, and provides better cushioning abilities and maximum product protection.

The product, which uses the minimum amount of foam, gives users the opportunity to optimise their packaging operations.

According to the company, Instapak Quick Tuff RT comprises two liquid components that will expand up to 27 times their original volume when they are combined.

Sealed Air Europe product manager Simon Davies said the range includes various packaging solutions which provide optimum protection.

"Our commitment to research and development allows us to continuously innovate and create new products, as well as improve existing ones. This ensures we offer customers high performance protective packaging which meets their operational demands," Davies said.

Instapak Quick Tuff RT provides better quality protective packaging solution using the least amount of excess material, ensuring a neat package.

The foam packaging, which has three bag sizes, has been designed to accommodate a variety of packaging needs for a collection of products.

Additional benefits of the product include just-in-time packaging, as it can be created when and where it is needed.

Instapak Quick Tuff RT has been introduced to the European market and is suited for distributors of heavier items, such as motors and pumps.
