Sun Branding manages European rebranding project for Mondelez chewing gum

UK-based brand lifecycle management agency Sun Branding Solutions has finished working on the rebranding of Mondelez International's European chewing gum brands.

UK-based brand lifecycle management agency Sun Branding Solutions has finished working on the rebranding of Mondelez International's European chewing gum brands.

The rebranding project for Trident, Stimorol and Hollywood was managed by Sun Branding across 11 European countries.

Refreshed by agency LPK, the master designs for the brands were adapted by Sun Branding for more than 700 stock keeping units (SKUs) across multiple territories, pack formats and substrates.

Sun Branding used a total of 30 printing machines to produce primary packaging, shelf displays, single and multipack units with the help of lithographic, flexographic and gravure print methods across three different substrates.

Mondelez International design technology project manager Penny Thomas said that the company gave full responsibility to Sun Branding for overseeing the rebranding programme for its entire European gum category.

"Sun Branding Solutions expertly managed expectations of consistency across the brand, packaging and display units, and we are very pleased with the results," Thomas added.

Sun Branding used PantoneLive and technical knowledge of Mondelez printer suppliers to form a standard which was consistently met across the print base.

The company, which is the branding division of Sun Chemical, works with brand owners, private label retailers and pharmaceutical companies across Europe and North America to develop and implement global brand creation and management solutions.
