Tetra Pak has announced the launch of its new Tetra Brik Aseptic 200ml Edge with HeliCap in the Middle East.

In a bid to venture into the evaporated milk market, Arla Foods Group's Danya Foods has selected the new carton-based portion pack for its 'Puck' brand.

Tetra Brik Aseptic 200 Edge with HeliCap, which complements the existing Puck offering, is said to provide a new pour-from experience.

Tetra Pak Arabia marketing director Riccardo Castagnetti said Puck's choice of the new carton pack will be received well by consumers and will stand apart in terms of differentiation as well as functionality.

"The new package has got an highly distinctive look and functional design - it is the result of our dedication and long-standing commitment to innovation and design excellence," Castagnetti said.

According to Tetra Pak, the agreement between the company and Danya Foods is another step in supporting the vision to make food safe and available everywhere.

Tetra Brik Aseptic Edge 200ml with a resealable screwcap opening will deliver a stress-free option for the consumers.

Tetra Pak has a production facility equipped with latest packaging technologies in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The company, which has supplied more than 6.8 billion packs in the region during 2011 alone, has offices across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Yemen.
