Tetra Pak has announced that Coca-Cola Hellenic has selected its new Tetra Gemina Aseptic (TGA) Leaf package for Multon‘s Dobry juice line in Russia.

The TGA Leaf offers a new appearance and also delivers better holding and pouring performance.

According to a consumer research conducted in Russia and Spain in 2012, consumers rate the TGA Leaf due to its visual appeal, environmental performance and functionality, as well as easy-to-open, pour and re-close features, compared to similar packages.

Building on the functionality of the TGA Square package, the TGA Leaf is the new entry within the Tetra Gemina Aseptic family of products.

The shape of the package body is new with the addition of four leaf-shaped panels, and it comes in a 1,000ml package size, designed for use in the home mainly.

According to the Swedish food processing and packaging company Tetra Pak, the package, which uses HeliCap 27, delivers a larger net pouring area for higher liquid flow and a comfortable overall pouring performance for consumers.

TGA Leaf, which also offers customer value by providing production flexibility, can be produced on the Tetra Pak A3 / Flex for Tetra Gemina Aseptic packaging machine.

This enables customers to produce three different shapes, including TGA Square, TGA Crystal and TGA Leaf, and four different sizes of 1,500ml, 1,000ml, 750ml and 500ml for the Square shape, and 1,000ml for the Crystal and Leaf shapes.

Coca-Cola Hellenic is the bottler of products under the trademark of The Coca-Cola Company, and operates in 28 countries.

Russia-based Multon develops and produces fruit-based foods, including natural juices, nectars, berry beverages and purees in aseptic packaging, and its brand portfolio includes Dobry, Rich, NicoBiotime and Yasli-Sad.
