G&J Distillers has unveiled a new bottle design and packaging for Greenall’s The Original London Dry Gin, which is the UK’s second best-selling standard gin brand.

Set to be introduced across the UK in May, the new design is inspired by gin bottles used by the distillery in the 1700s.

The new bottle design features one Union Jack stitched on the back and another on the front label to reflect the gin’s British heritage.

The label also includes the signature of Edward Greenall, a key figure in the brand’s history.

G&J Distillers is currently producing its Original gin brand, which is produced in 70cl, 1l, 35cl, and 5cl miniature sizes at its UK facility.

Greenall’s The Original Gin owner Enzo Visone said: “We are continuing to see exciting growth in the gin category globally and want to ensure our packaging reflects the rich history as well as the outstanding quality of our gin.

“We are continuing to see exciting growth in the gin category globally and want to ensure our packaging reflects the rich history as well as the outstanding quality of our gin."

“Greenall’s is the benchmark of excellent gin and we feel it is important for consumers to hear and see our story and know they can trust the quality of our gin; the new bottle design helps us achieve this.”

In addition, G&J Distillers is planning to use the new bottle design across its full portfolio, including its Wild Berry, Autumn, and Sloe Gin products.

Two new flavours will also be added to Greenall’s ready-to-drink portfolio, as well as an exclusive variant for its Global Travel Retail brand.

G&J Distillers is owned by The Quintessential Brands Group and is currently exported to more than 70 countries worldwide.
