UK-based packaging solution provider DS Smith has developed new tray packaging for Spangsberg Chokolade’s new line of wine gums and liquorice sweets under the Nørregade brand.

Developed along with Spangsberg and its advertising agency, the new packaging aims to attract young people and increase sales.

Extra-strong 2mm and 3mm corrugated board have been used to enhance the durability of the product for transportation and in-store handling.

In order to grab customers' attention, three cartoon characters have been flexo-printed onto the sides of the tray and coated with partial lacquer varnish.

The packaging, developed using 3mm and 2mm double corrugated board, is designed to increase Dynaudio’s exposure in shops and protect the inside products.

DS Smith currently provides tailor-made packaging to its customers, with operations in 30 countries worldwide.
