Franchise bottlers of Coca-Cola India, Kandhari Beverages and Enrich Agro Foods will make an investment of Rs5.10bn ($67.6m) in the northern state of Haryana.
The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haryana government at the Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit in Gurgaon.
Enrich Agro Food Products plans to invest Rs2.10bn ($27.1m) on manufacturing lines for several beverages, which includes Rs450m ($6.7m) in a packing unit in Rohtak by 2018.
Kandhari Beverages intends to invest $40.5m at Saha in Ambala. This investment will be used to set up multiple high-speed manufacturing lines at its Saha facility in Ambala.
Enrich Agro Food Products managing director VPS Kandhari was quoted by The Hindu Business Line saying: "This investment will not only help us in augmenting our production capacity, but also play a key role in contributing to the social and economic wellbeing of the state."
The investment is expected to create direct jobs for 325 people.
