Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Life, Physical, and Social Science Occupations, which accounted for 5% of the total new job postings in Q1 2024 and were up by 208% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 2% and rise by 55% year-on-year, and third highest were Educational Instruction and Library Occupations, which were 20% of the new job postings and 300% higher year-on-year.

Top five companies in packaging industry accounted for 93% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Klabin with 476, followed by Suzano with 140, while the highest increase was at Ball at 19%.
