Americk Packaging has closed the acquisition of UK-based Adare Advantage, the packaging unit of Adare Group.

The deal was completed on 12 November.

Adare Advantage has secured a place in the market as a labels and flexibles printer and branched out into artwork services, security labelling and recycled packaging, including containers and lidding films.

With the completion of the acquisition, Adare Advantage is rebranded as Americk Advantage.

"Our vision to continue to develop innovative solutions and meet the challenges and demands of the industry is a mouthwatering prospect."

The addition of this unit will see Americk Packaging achieve €140m in sales revenue by the end of this year and inclusion of some innovative products such as the electronic article surveillance solution along with the independent Starfish artwork and content management system.

Americk Advantage is located in Haverhill, Suffolk, UK, and employs 110 staff in office, production, sales divisions.

The acquisition will complement the existing flexible packaging, labels and carton businesses under the Americk banner, thereby bolstering the range of products Americk would provide to its European customer base.

Americk is a provider of carton, label and flexible packaging in the UK and Ireland.
