Ardagh Group has announced plans to expand its Jacareí can and Manaus ends production facilities in Brazil this year.

The decision to expand the facilities is part of the company’s commitment to supporting the growth in the Brazilian can market, and will allow it to cater to the customers’ demand for infinitely recyclable and sustainable aluminium packaging.

According to the company, the Jacareí can facility was established in 2017 while the Manaus ends facility was commissioned last year. Both facilities are operating at full capacity and will increase production further.

The company plans to complete the expansion of the Manaus plant in the third quarter of this year. It will start the Jacareí plant expansion from the first quarter of next year.

Earlier this month, Ardagh Group announced plans to introduce an online product catalogue with a 360° 3D feature enabling customers to interact with its packaging products.
