The printer can be added to an AB 180 packaging system to reduce the cost of product identification without affecting the system’s output speeds and adds product identification information such as barcodes, text and graphics to individual packs.

The system uses matched autolabel thermal transfer ribbons, which the company claims ensures a good printing quality and can print more than 40 traceability markers, including 2D barcodes and UPS Maxicode.
