Bosch Packaging Technology has expanded its Pack series of horizontal flow wrappers with the introduction of new Pack 301 LS (Length Slug) system.

The new Pack 301 LS system was designed for the efficient and flexible packaging of biscuits and crackers. It can pack rectangular, square and round products, as well as sandwich biscuits.
The Smart Measuring Loader will allow the machine to gently handle delicate and brittle biscuit-type products even at higher speeds, while minimising downtime.
Manufacturers will benefit from Smart Measuring Loader’s full-servo execution as it allows smooth placement of the portioned biscuits into the cross chain from the loader.
Bosch claims the machine’s Smart Transfer Unit features pre-acceleration for optimal synchronisation with the infeed chain, resulting in better handling of the product when bringing it from the cross chain into the machine infeed.

By GlobalDataBy using an adjustable knob, the counter holder can be positioned accordingly to transport the biscuit portion into the film tube in an upright position.
Additionally, the narrow design of the cutting head improves sealing performance and creates tight seals.

The complete biscuit feeding and packaging solution can be operated by a single human machine interface, which improves fast changeovers for different formats and sizes.
