COVERIS Rigid (Mansfield) UK has designed a new, completely recyclable, thin wall in-mould labelled packaging for dairy firm First Milk’s Lake District Dairy Cooking Sauces.

The packaging company has created in-mould labelling (IML) decoration for the new sauces, which will come in three flavours: tikka, garlic and herb, and tomato and basil. The sauces will be available at retail outlets in the UK by the end of August.

Currently, COVERIS supplies IML containers for fresh cream, cottage cheese, crème fraîche and custard products in the UK dairy industry.

COVERIS, which was formed by the combination of Exopack, Britton Group, Kobusch, PACCOR and Paragon Print & Packaging, provides flexible and rigid plastic packaging, as well as coatings solutions.

The company has facilities in North America, Europe, the Middle East and China.
