Germany-based Gerresheimer has reached an agreement with Ompi, a brand owned by Stevanato Group, to use Ompi’s EZ-fill packaging technology to develop new Gx ready-to-fills (RTF) vials.

The agreement enables Gerresheimer to provide standardised pharmaceutical packaging solutions.

Vanrx Pharmasystems has signed a deal to supply aseptic filling and lyophiliser loading systems at a new manufacturing facility being developed in Bloomington, Indiana, US.

The facility is being built by AB BioTechnologies, which will install the equipment within a Biologics Modular’s prefabricated modular cleanroom.
