Edition 9 is the latest benchmark developed by the SQFI for food safety and quality management after its previous version – Edition 8.1.

In order to obtain the latest certification, INDEVCO Plastics completed an extensive assessment process to externally validate its manufacturing methods, systems and procedures.

The company said that this certification process covered a thorough evaluation of various critical areas, including in stringent packaging material traceability, supplier assurance, allergen control measures, and proactive environmental monitoring.

According to INDEVCO North America’s chief manufacturing officer Chady Zablit, the latest milestone marks a crucial achievement for its facility in Longview, Texas, US.
