Lappi Graphic Industries has acquired the production plant of Catalan printing company Gràfiques Llopart.
Following the acquisition, The Lappi Group incorporates the Rotatek Offset Printing Machine BRAVA 450, the only printing machine on the market that combines semi-rotary and rotary printing technologies. The BRAVA 450 features offset and flexo printing units, hot stamping, die cutting and embossing units.

The acquisition allows Lappi to manufacture Denomination of Origin (DO) cava labels and to expand its client portfolio with Spanish cava producers such as Freixenet, Juvé & Camps and Miguel Torres.
The Spanish firm expects to generate approximately €20m in sales during the 2014 financial year. Half of the income is expected from international markets in the UK, France, Belgium, Morocco and the Caribbean.
Lappi Graphic provides services to drink and mineral water producers such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Nestlé, Vichy Catalán, Osborne, KAS, Mahou, Cruzcampo, Damm, Pernod Ricard, García Carrión and Rum Havana.
