India-based recycling company Lucro has teamed up with restaurant chain Good Flippin’ Burgers on a water bottle recycling initiative in the country. 

The companies aim to enhance the efficiency of collecting and recycling used water bottles within the region.

Lucro will be responsible for collecting used water bottles from the outlets of Good Flippin’ Burgers. 

Lucro will also facilitate the recycling of these bottles to ensure they are diverted from landfills.

In a press statement, Lucro said: “The approach to recycling involves an integrated and streamlined process. Once the Good Flippin’ Burgers storage reaches capacity, the dedicated team from Lucro collects the bottles from various locations, ensuring a swift and efficient recycling process.” 

Since its inception, the initiative has reportedly seen the collection and recycling of more than 30,000 bottles.
