Mondragon Assembly has acquired ATP Engineering & Packaging, a company based in Barberà del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain.
Financial specifics of the deal remain undisclosed.

ATP specialises in designing and producing packaging machinery and complete line solutions for around 30 years and has 60 employees.
The deal enables Mondragon Assembly to expand its business portfolio by entering the food packaging market, with a particular focus on equipment for picking and case-packing processes.
ATP’s existing business spans the food, hygiene, cosmetics, and household goods industries.
Its offerings include automatic packaging systems, multi-format cartoning and case-packing machinery, as well as engineering services for plant logistics.

By GlobalDataATP generates annual sales of around €12m ($14.1m), with approximately half of its revenue coming from exports, primarily within Europe.
Following the acquisition, ATP is set to benefit from Mondragon Assembly’s resources, international presence, and group management structure.
In turn, Mondragon Assembly gains a platform with established client relationships and technical expertise in food packaging as it continues its diversification efforts.

A part of the Mondragon Corporation, Mondragon Assembly operates a global network with production facilities and subsidiaries, as well as maintains sales offices in the US, India, and Tunisia.
In 2025, Mondragon Assembly recorded a turnover of €120m, of which nearly 80% was generated from international markets. It employs more than 650 people worldwide.
