Nampak new

Nampak Plastics has ended a lease on a 20,000ft² industrial facility to open a plastic bottle manufacturing facility in Stirling, Scotland.

The firm, which operates a facility at Bellshill, will manufacture a range of plastic milk bottles. The new facility will create 20 full-time jobs.

Nampak chose Stirling to open the plant due to the business opportunities provided by the food and drink industry in the area and accessibility to markets.

The facility is expected to serve as a platform to bolster the growth of its clients in Scotland, including Graham’s The Family Dairy.

"Nampak has been manufacturing in Scotland for a number of years from its plant in Bellshill."

The new Stirling facility will supply bottles to Graham’s The Family Dairy’s new dairy facility that is proposed to come up at the Hill of Drip farm.

Nampak Plastics Europe managing director Eric Collins was quoted by Plasticsnews.com saying: "Nampak has been manufacturing in Scotland for a number of years from its plant in Bellshill.
