North American plastic packaging manufacturer Placon has introduced a new four-compartment container to complement its Fresh n’ Clear GoCubes stock food packaging portfolio.
The new 24oz square container is expected to fulfil the growing demand of compartmental packaging and offer a convenient packaging solution to store various grab-and-go snacking options.
The new containers can store four different ingredients separately with consistent portion sizing and keep them fresh for longer.
Placon stock food sales manager Ben Brummerhop said: “At Placon, we continue to grow our product lines to meet customer needs and industry trends. It is important to stay relevant while providing innovative solutions for the end-user.”
The company launched the Fresh n’ Clear GoCubes stock food packaging line in 2015.
Made with EcoStar recycled PET material procured from curbside plastic bottles, all these containers are reusable and recyclable.
The portfolio includes six ultra-sleek base sizes within the range of 12oz to 36oz.
All the boxes work on the principle of one-size fits all recycled PET lid options and equipped with secure seals, crystal clear anti-fog technology and easy open tabs.
Placon also provides three insert trays with the containers, which can be used to mix and match the products.
The company focuses on designing and producing custom and stock plastic packaging, retail packaging, quality thermoformed and injection-moulded food packaging, as well as protective packaging for medical devices.
In the US, it has manufacturing units in Madison, Wisconsin; West Springfield, Massachusetts; Elkhart, Indiana; and Plymouth, Minnesota.
