Italian bottle manufacturing and filling technology provider SIPA has installed a PET processing machine for a subsidiary of South American drinks giant Ajegroup in Bogota, Colombia.

The Sincro TriBloc has a compact footprint and incorporates the blowing, labelling, filling and capping of PET containers.

The machine can save up to 55% of space compared to traditional lines and will be used to process the Agua Cielo range of non-sparkling mineral water.

According to SIPA, the machine processes 500ml and 1.5l bottles at speeds of up to 24,000 bottles an hour.

Ajegroup has previously installed a range of SIPA machines in several blow moulding machines and bottling lines at its plants in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Thailand.
